The Conservation Officer and the Diocese have no objections to the proposal to erect a demountable ironwork balustrade at the top of the steps in front of the altar.
360 - Milford Post Office
CCS's proposal was for the Post Office to be on the ground floor and not the first floor.
370 - Amber Valley Access Group
As Mr Frank Wheeldon is unwilling to serve as the Council's representative it is necessary to nominate another person to represent the Council on the Group.

- Town Vehicle
Councillors John Nelson and Randall Sanders to report on the actions taken to obtain a replacement pick-up.
- East Midlands in Bloom.
In this year's competition Belper came joint third with Buxton behind
Spalding and Market Harborough. The Judge's report on Belper is attached. Belper Improvement Group have suggested that an ad hoc Working Group could be established with representatives of the Council, Borough Council, BIG, the Chamber of Trade and the Town Centre Forum to coordinate each organisation's efforts. It should be noted that responsibility for judging passes to the Royal Horticultural Society next year. Rather than marking on one visit they will make their assessment over a period of time.

A consultation document on the proposal to establish a Strategic Health Authority for Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire has been received. A summary of the proposals is attached.
