i the Model Code of Conduct for Parish Councils,
ii Quality Parish Councils,
iii National Training Strategy for Parish Councils and
iv a new approach to local Council audit.
Attached is a further document issued by DTLR entitled Strong Local Leadership - Quality Public Services which sets out proposals for the financing of Parish Councils in future. This is a concomitant of the Quality Parish Council initiative.

- Nominations to Outside Bodies
A To note that the Conservative representatives on
a the Citizens Advice Bureau is Councillor Ron Day, and
b Amber Valley Access is Councillor Peter Arnold (AVBC).
B To note also that following the designation of World Heritage status an urgent request was received to nominate a representative from the Town Council to sit on the Derwent Valley Mills Tourism, Arts and Heritage Sites Panel. Following discussions with the Leaders it was agreed that the Mayor, Councillor Randall Sanders should represent the Council.
C Amber Valley Borough Council's Standards Committee
Councillor Tim Benson will report on the withdrawal of this Council's nomination.
