- Councillor Chris Short, the Borough Council's Cabinet Member responsible for Health and Leisure and Mr Murray Calladine, the Leisure Development Manager, have been invited to the meeting to agree the Sports Development Programme for Belper in 2002. This is a consequence of their attendance at our meeting in July and our discussion at the last meeting (min 70).
(Whilst the Borough Council's representatives are present it may be appropriate to take other items at this point).

- Grant Applications - attached
A grant of £1,000 is requested towards the cost of this year's Nailer's Folk Moot. Last year the Club asked the Council to underwrite the event up to £1,000. They did not need to call on this money.
A grant of £165 towards the cost of the Pro Loco Art Competition is requested. Last year the Group applied for £165 and were granted this amount.
c Belper Social Club for the Disabled
The Club are seeking £1,000 towards the cost of a new ambibus.

Correspondence between the Council and Borough Council is attached. It is necessary to consider the financial and staffing consequences of adopting this 13 event programme.
