Min 103 - Payphone, The Butts.
Our request to prevent the removal of the public payphone on The Butts has been rejected on the grounds of the very low usage of the box at the present. - Comprehensive Performance Assessment for Amber Valley Borough Council
The Audit Commission are carrying out a comprehensive performance assessment of the Borough Council in January. As a pre-cursor they are carrying out a survey of all Local Councils in Amber Valley. The questionnaire has been directed to the Clerks of these Councils. However I consider it would be better completed by a small group of Town Council members who are not also members of the Borough Council.
The Borough Council are having a dry run and using an out side team of assessors in preparation for the actual assessment. As part of this trial assessment we have been invited to send representatives to a focus group on 5th November from 6pm to 7pm.
