  8. Representatives of Belper Leisure Centre Trust: Councillor Joyce Sanders (Chair), Neil Malenoir (Centre Manager) and Tony Wain (Treasurer) will be present at the meeting further to the request from the Clerk of the Trust for a meeting with the Council.

  12. To consider the latest structural survey on St John's Chapel prepared by Norder Design (attached).

    1. To note the procedure for The Town Council's response to planning applications (attached).
    2. To consider the Planning Applications circulated on 2, 11 and 18 March 2004 together with those herewith. A further schedule will be tabled at the meeting. The Planning Response Co-ordinators will report.
    3. To note the proposed installation of a telecommunications installation at Milford. Letters from Orange attached.

  15. To consider an application for a grant of £750 by Belper Derwent Association in respect of Market Town Week to be held in May. Application attached.

  18. To agree a resolution for banking purposes to identify the "Proper Officer" of the Council ie remove Tony Clifford as Town Clerk and substitute Elaine Hibbert as Acting Town Clerk.
  19. Outside Bodies:
  20. To consider proposals for the training of Andrew Sanders and Peter Hunt on a Mobile Elevating Work Platform to allow Council staff to erect hanging baskets and Christmas lights.
  21. To consider a request from Belper Social Club for the Disabled in respect of two car boot sales, June and September. Letter attached.
  22. To consider whether the dwindling stocks of Belper Town Map should be replenished.
