PARISH OF BELPER

ANNUAL ASSEMBLY OF PARISH MEETING

The business to be transacted is set out in the Agenda below.

The meeting will commence with prayers.

  1. To appoint a Clerk for the meeting.
  2. To confirm the Minutes of the Annual Meeting held 13 May 2003 (combined Annual Assembly of Parish Meeting and Annual General Meeting of the Council).
  3. To receive a report on the work of the Town Council for the Municipal Year 2003/2004.
  4. Budget and Council Tax Precept for 2004/5. A copy of the budget is attached which shows the precept of £222,000.
  5. The Maurice Heely Award. Belper Detachment ACF have been nominated.
  6. Town Service Awards. Mr Randall Sanders, Mr David Robinson and Mr Rex Barker of Belper Celebration have been nominated.
  7. To consider any other Parish matter which may be brought forward for consideration by the Town Council or local government elector(s).
NB The public are entitled to be present at the meeting but such persons only as are local government electors for the Parish may be allowed to speak.
