- Finance:
- A schedule of payments totalling £51,391.64 and receipts totalling £3,601.21 for the period from 1 July 2004 to 29 August 2004 is attached.
- To agree the Annual Return to the Audit Commission (attached).
- To consider the report and latest estimates of costs from Norder Design on the remedial building work required at St John's Chapel (to be tabled).
- To consider a response to the letter (attached) from the Mid-Derbyshire Citizens Advice Bureau concerning continued funding.
- To note the response (attached) from NALC concerning the requirement to produce a newsletter under the Quality Parish and Town Council Scheme.
- To consider the response (attached) from the Milford & Makeney Well Dressing Group concerning Council's queries on their grant claim ref. 195.
- To consider the siting of dog bins/litter bins on the footpaths between Belper Hockey Club/Belper Town Football Club and Goods Road. (e-mail from AVBC attached)
- To consider a letter (attached) from Transco concerning work to the gas main in the Memorial Gardens.
- To agree to the signing and sealing of a document concerning the transfer of ownership of land at Spencer Road to the Town Council (attached). The "land" referred to is the planted out alcove on High Street which was originally planned to house the Spencer Monument.
- To consider a request from John Lawson to hold a Circus from 23 to 27 May 2005 (letter attached).
- To note the proposal by AVBC to designate Belper Railway Station an alocohol consumption regulated area (letter attached)
- Comment invited by DCC on the proposed puffin crossing and mini roundabout at the junction of A609 Kilbourne Road and John O'Gaunts Way (letter attached)

- To review the temporary staffing situation of the Acting Town Clerk, Acting Finance Officer and the Admin Assistant. The temporary arrangement was put in place in March for a period of six months following the retirement of The Town Clerk.
- To discuss the proposed Service Level Agreement concerning the rationalisation of services between Belper Town Council and Amber Valley Borough Council.
