- Grant Applications:
- Belper Pottery Bowls Club - 205
This grant application for £500 has been brought forward from the previous meeting. The Chairman of the Club, Mr Allwood, is hoping to be present to answer any questions that may arise on the application.
- Nailers Folk Moot - 194
Approval is required to pay an amount of £703 in respect of the agreement to underwrite the Folk Club's losses up to £1000.
- Holbrook Centre for Autism - 207
This request for a donation has been declined because a) it is LEA funded and b) no Belper children attend the Centre.
- Belper Marlin S.C. - 209
Sponsorship requested of £35 for the Club's Open Meet Gala.
- Amber Valley Access - 210
Small donation sought to help with running costs.
- To consider the financial arrangements for the Christmas festivities with specific reference to the grant application from the Belper River Gardens Society (208) where an amount of £1000 is sought in respect of the provision of lighting for Christmas events in the town.
- Wakes Day 2005
To consider the way the event will be managed next year. A verbal request has been made by Mr Gary Spendlove for the Council to again fund the hire of the marquee.
- To consider a proposal from the Poetry People for a poetry trail in Belper as a memorial to Beth Fender
