  11. Planning Applications.
    1. To note the Planning Applications circulated on the schedule dated 20 September 2004.
    2. To note the Planning Applications on any schedules circulated prior to the meeting

  13. Finance:
      A schedule of payments totalling £22,365.56 and receipts totalling £10,236.14 for the period from 26 August 2004 to 23 September 2004 is attached.
  14. The Town Clerk will report on the arrangements for the Coppice Car Park for the duration of the Fair and the Opening Night on Thursday 28 October 2004.
  15. To consider a response to the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister in respect of the following documents (attached):
    1. A draft code of conduct for local government employees
    2. A review of restrictions on the political activities of local authority employees and pay of political assistants
  16. To note the attached letter informing Members of Amber Valley Borough Council's plans to refurbish the leisure centres at Alfreton, Heanor and Ripley.
  17. To consider the nomination of a young person for the Derbyshire County Council Young Achievers Awards 2004. Letter from DCC attached.
  18. To note the attached response from the Diocese regarding responsibility for repairs to St John's Chapel. The Clerk will give an update of progress.
  19. The Clerk will report on the situation regarding the attached letter from the Cross Keys regarding water penetration at their premises.
  20. To note the attached response from the legal department at Amber Valley Borough Council concerning the boundary wall at the Memorial Gardens.
  21. To consider the offer from the Carers Federation to make a presentation to the Council at a future meeting (letter attached).
  22. To consider Showman, Michael McKean's annual request for overwintering on the Showground for a period of approximately twenty weeks at £50 per week.

  26. To discuss the provision of services in Belper and consider the allocation of jobs and services between Belper Town Council staff and Amber Valley Borough Council staff. The proposed Service Level Agreement between Belper Town Council and Amber Valley Borough Council is attached.
