- Police Matters:
To note the appointment of Inspector Paul Allen as a replacement to Inspector Arnie Hicklin who is moving to Headquarters in the New Year. A representative of the local Police may be present to report on their recent performance and deal with issues raised by members.

- To note the Planning Applications circulated on the schedule dated
16 and 24 November 2004 (attached).

To consider those applications already circulated on the schedule dated 16 and 24 November 2004 and any other applications that may be submitted subsequent to the despatch of this agenda.
- Finance:
A schedule of payments and receipts for the period 21 October 2004 to 26 November 2004 is attached showing expenditure of £23,096.85 and income of £7878.80
- To note the publication of the first Newsletter as required under the Quality Council Scheme (attached) and consider any feedback.
- To note the implementation of the Service Level Agreement with between Belper Town Council and Amber Valley Borough Council (copy attached).
- To consider a request from Michael McKean & Sons re permission to hold a fair on the Coppice Car Park between 27 December 2004 and 1 January 2004 (copy letter attached).
- Outside Bodies/Committees:
- Updates from Council Representatives where minutes not submitted to Council
- Beaurepaire Garden -
To consider a proposal for a reduced Committee to oversee the gardens. Councillor Alan Cox to report
- To consider a request from Mid-Derbyshire Citizens Advice Bureau for future funding. Correspondence attached for information.
- To note the consultation documents from Amber Valley Borough Council concerning the provision of leisure services in the Borough (attached).
- To note the expiry of the planning permission for continuation of use as a Community Centre at the Community Centre, Park Road for Parks Estate Residents Association (letter attached).
- To consider a request to create a plot in the Memorial Gardens in respect of those who have died in conflicts since the first World War (letter attached).
- To note the proposed band concert dates for 2005 Larks in the Parks in the River Gardens (e-mail attached).
- To consider a verbal request for blackspot lighting from Ms Valerie Smith of 35 Brookside at the start of the public right of way just over the bridge in front of the cottages at Brookside.
- To receive a report on the Christmas Festival on Friday evening, 3rd December and note the remaining Christmas events.
