- Planning Applications:
- To confirm the Clerk's response to Derbyshire County Council concerning the proposed mini-roundabout at Sandbed Lane/Bargate Road (attached).
- To note the Clerk's response to AVBC re the amended application AVA/2005/0396 in respect of trolley shelters at Morrison Supermarket
- To consider the planning applications circulated on the schedules dated 21 April 2005 and 17 May 2005.

- To consider the financial accounts for the year ended 31 March 2005. Financial comparison and Balance Sheet attached.
- To consider income and expenditure for the period 1 April to 30 April 2005. Sheets attached showing expenditure of £21,527.38 and income of £113,488.88.
- To approve the payment of annual grants in accordance with the budget.
- Appointment of Member to the Finance Committee.
- To consider Grant Requests as follows:
- To consider a grant request of £250 from Derbyshire Coalition for Inclusive Living as attached correspondence.
- To consider a grant request of £250 from Belper Historical Society and North Mill Volunteers Association as attached application form in respect of the construction of a wheelchair-accessible pathway in Beaurepaire Garden.
- To receive reports from Representatives of Outside Bodies and confirm the status of those bodies.
- To consider the attached report from the Clerk concerning the War Memorial in the Memorial Gardens.
- To consider a request from Mr Peter Davies in respect of insurance cover of Beaurepaire Garden. Letter from Mr Davies attached along with the Clerk's letter of 20 April.
- To discuss arrangements for the Well Dressings.
- To consider proposals for the celebration of Trafalgar weekend 21-23 October 2005 (supported by NALC). Brief details attached. The Clerk will report on discussions with Canon Robert Parsons.
- To receive an update on arrangements for the summer season of Larks in the Parks - Councillor Les Dorey.

- The Clerk will report on a request received from Home Craft on the Market Place in respect of re-surfacing to the front of the shop.
- To consider the attached letter from Amber Valley Borough Council in respect of the Town Council taking on the responsibility for maintaining all the grit bins in Belper. The responsibility is currently split.
- To consider requests for Car Boot Sales/Fairs as follows:
- Craft Fair at the Masonic Rooms on 19 November. Proceeds in aid of Oxfam.
- Car boot sale requests from Ambergate Carnival Committee as attached.
- To consider a request from the Poetry Trail People who wish to use the Council's logo on their correspondence.
- To note the work carried out at Hunter Road Allotments. The Clerk will report.
- To note Derbyshire County Council's adoption of the following streets:
- Loom Close off Gregory's Way for a distance of 114.30 metres
- Loom Close extension for a distance of 9.10 metres
- Loom Close hammer head for a distance of 14.10 metres
- Bobbin Way off Loom Close for a distance of 159.60 metres
- Link Footway 1 off Bobbin Way for a distance of 36.60 metres
- Link Footway 2 off Bobbin Way for a distance of 39.00 metres
- Turning Head off Bobbin Way for a distance of 11.00 metres
- To note the attached invitation to Members to attend a meeting of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site Partnership to be held at the Chapel at 7.30 pm on 22 June 2005
