AGENDA FOR THE MEETING OF 8th NOVEMBER 2005
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
- A short period of time will be made available for members of the public to raise any Town Council issues for comment or discussion.
- Police Matters. A representative of Belper Police will hopefully be in attendance to report on issues affecting Belper.
- Short presentation by Mr Roger Carter of Belper Hockey Club in support of the Council grant the Club currently receives.

- Finance:
- To note and agree income and expenditure for the period September 2005. A schedule is attached showing income of £112,951.64 and expenditure of £34,821.97
- To consider proposals for Broadband. Councillor Les Dorey will report.
- Derbyshire County Council Matters:
- To note the proposed road safety improvement at the A6/Broadholme Lane junction. (Letter attached)
- To comment as appropriate on the attached letter and Summary of Statement of Community Involvement in respect of Planning for Minerals and Waste in Derbyshire.
- To consider making a nomination in respect of the Greenwatch Awards for 2006. (Letter attached).
- To consider Grant Requests as follows:
- To agree the recommendation made at October's Council meeting that a grant of £2000 be awarded to Shopmobility in respect of a further six months' provision of the service. (Application form attached).
- To receive any reports from Council Representatives on Outside Bodies.
- To note Councillor Mick Nelson's summary report re The Drop Inn (Attached)
- To note the attached Standards Board Bulletin 05.

- To consider advertising expenditure of £100 in respect of the Farmers' Market banner at Belper Town Football Ground. (Letter attached)
