    A representative of the local Police will be present to report on their recent performance and deal with issues raised by members.

  4. To determine if any items should be taken with the public excluded. If it is deemed appropriate to exempt the public from any item, the following resolution will be passed:

    2. To receive and consider costs for upgrading the Mayor's chain.
  7. Planning Applications:
    1. To consider the planning applications on any schedules circulated on 22 and 29 June.
    2. To consider any planning schedule which may be circulated prior to the meeting.
  8. Finance:
    1. To consider income and expenditure for the period 19 May to 30 June 2006. Sheets attached showing expenditure of £14,342.50 and income of £602.53.
    2. o approve the Annual Return for the year ended 31 March 2006 (attached).
    3. To note and agree the Supporting Notes in respect of the Accounts for the year ended 31 March 2006 (attached).
  9. To consider Grant Requests as follows:
    1. Application 239: To consider a grant request of £300 from Friends of Belper Parks as attached application.
    2. Application 240: To consider a grant request from Derbyshire Children's Holiday Centre as attached correspondence.
  10. To discuss Councillor Russell Horsley's Membership of the Town Council.
  11. Outside Bodies:
    1. To receive reports from Council representatives.
    2. To nominate a Member to represent the Council on the Derwent Valley Mills Tourism, Arts and Heritage Site Panel
    3. To note the availability of the Belper Leisure Centre Trust Draft Business Plan for 2006-2009 (Clerk has copies)

    2. To note an application from the Soroptomists to hold a sponsored walk plus a stall on King Street in September.

      1. To note the application will be considered by the Amber Valley Licensing Board on 12 July.

  23. The Poetry Trail:
    1. To note the Diocese approval for the slate engraving to be sited in the grounds of St Johns Chapel.
    2. To consider a proposal to site a poem in the Memorial Gardens (letter attached from Glen Mulliner)
  24. To consider an invitation from Derbyshire Archery Club to attend an Archery Evening in aid of the Strutt Charity.
  25. To agree that the Clerk should pursue the publication of a Town Guide to incorporate a map of Belper. There will be no cost to the Council.
  26. To consider the Items for Information on the attached schedule.
  27. To agree the purchase of a ramp for disabled access to the Chapel. Councillor Mick Potter to make recommendations.
  28. To consider the 2007 Larks in the Parks Event.
