  4. To determine if any items should be taken with the public excluded. If it is deemed appropriate to exempt the public from any item, the following resolution will be passed:
    In accordance with Section 1(2) of the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960, in view of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted, it is RESOLVED that, in the public interest, the public and press be excluded from the meeting during discussion of the item and they be instructed to withdraw.
  5. Public Participation:
    A short period of time will be made available for members of the public to raise any Town Council issues for comment or discussion.
  6. Police Matters: A representative of Belper Police will be in attendance to report on issues affecting Belper.

  8. To receive and approve Minutes 1498 - 1517 of the Council Meeting held on 10 November 2009.
  9. To receive and approve Minutes 1518 - 1524 of the Extraordinary Council Meeting held on 24 November 2009.
  10. To note the Minutes of the Christmas Committee held 3 November 2009.
  11. To note the Minutes of the Larks in the Park Committee held 9 November 2009
  12. Mayor's announcements.
  13. Finance:
    1. To note and agree income and expenditure incurred in the months of November covering transactions 3921 - 4003. Schedules attached showing Income of £2,356.46 and Expenditure of £8,637.48.
    2. To note the bank reconciliation for current/public reserve accounts as at 30 October 2009.
  14. Planning Applications:
    1. To consider the planning applications on the schedules dated 11 November - 23 November 2009 (already circulated).
    2. To note the planning application decisions 3 November - 26 November 2009.
    3. To consider the planning applications on any schedule circulated at the meeting.
  15. Grant Applications:
    295 - To consider the attached application from Fleet Arts for a grant of £2,000
  16. Outside Bodies.
    To receive verbal reports from Council Representatives on outside bodies.
  17. Parking Enforcement and traffic in Belper - Councillor John Nelson.
  18. Coppice car park commercial parking considerations.
  19. To consider a request to support the 'Sustainable Communities Act Amendment Bill'
  20. To consider the provision of bus shelters serving Belper Medical Centre.
  21. To note the response from the Borough Council planning department regarding the date the Planning Board will be considering the Supplementary Development Planning report on the land between the A6 and the River Derwent.
  22. To consider commenting on the Amber Valley Sustainable Community Strategy 2009 - 2014 comments required by 11 December.
  23. Request for a Post Box outside Milford Village Store.
  24. To note the locations Derbyshire County Council has agreed to supply grit bins.
  25. Licence Committee.
  26. To note the copy of a letter sent to the County Council regarding signage on Shireoaks.
  27. To note the dates of the car boot sales to be held at Belper Leisure Centre.
  28. To note the response to the Councils offer to purchase land at Bridge Hill for use as allotment space.
  29. To note the reply to the Clerks letter regarding additional recycling facilities at the public house at Bargate.
