Councillor John Nelson was nominated and duly elected as Town Mayor for the municipal year 2010/11. He thanked Councillor Bull and his wife for the work carried out during their term. - ELECTION OF DEPUTY TOWN MAYOR

Borough Councillor, Peter Makin congratulated the Town Council for all the excellent work carried out by the Councillors. - POLICE
Sgt. Richard Booth explained that due to financial cut backs the structure of the policing in Derbyshire is to be changed but there will be no changes or impact to the policing in Belper.
