- To receive apologies for absence.

Please Note:-
- Members must ensure that they complete the Declarations of Interest sheet prior to the start of the meeting and must indicate the action to be taken (i.e. to stay in the meeting, to leave the meeting or to stay in the meeting to make representations and then leave the meeting prior to any consideration or determination of the item)

- Public Speaking
- A maximum of five minutes, or at the Chairman's discretion will be made available for members of the public.
- If the Police Liaison Officer, a County Council or Borough Council Member is in attendance they will be given the opportunity to raise any relevant matter.
- Members declaring a prejudicial interest who wish to make representations or give evidence under the Code of Conduct relating to Agenda items shall do so at this stage.

- To determine if any items should be taken with the public excluded. If it is deemed appropriate to exempt the public from any item, the following resolution will be passed:
In accordance with Section 1(2) of the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960, in view of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted, it is RESOLVED that, in the public interest, the public and press be excluded from the meeting during discussion of the item and they be instructed to withdraw.

- Finance:
- To note and agree income and expenditure incurred in the months of April and May covering transaction 6214 - 6324. Schedules attached showing income of £126,071.49 and expenditure of £12,863.05.
- To note the bank reconciliation for current/public reserve accounts as at 30 April 2011.
- Planning Applications:
- To consider planning applications on the schedules dated 5 April 2011 - 23 May 2011 (already circulated)
- To note the planning application decisions 5 April 2011 - 23 May 2011.
- To consider the planning applications on any schedule circulated at the meeting.
- To consider making comments on the alleged breach of planning control on land and premises at Whitemoor Medical Centre, Whitemoor Lane - condition 17 improvements of pedestrian crossing facilities on Whitemoor Lane.
- To consider making representation on alleged breach of planning control - erection of raised decking area 177 Nottingham Road, Belper.
- To note the Town Council's comments regarding the proposed new Leisure Centre.
- To consider changing the Town Council's planning administration.

grant of £100 towards their running costs

To receive verbal reports from Council Representatives on outside bodies.
- To consider the Standing Orders previously circulated and adopt the NALC mandatory amendments.
- To consider arrangements for the Queens Diamond Jubilee Celebrations.
- To consider the 2010/11 running costs of the Council vehicle.
- To note the response from MP Pauline Latham with regards to telecommunication masts.
- To appoint stewards for the series of the Larks in the Park events.
- To consider the letter received from the County Council with regards to the Council's budget to install or replace bus shelters in the town.
- To consider the attached letter from the Borough Council with regards to the transfer of ownership of the Strutt Street and Triangle public conveniences.
