will be held in the Council Offices, St John's Chapel, The Butts, Belper on
Tuesday, 8 May 2012 at 7.00 pm
The business to be transacted is set out in the Agenda below.
The meeting will commence with prayers.
AGENDA
- To appoint a Clerk for the meeting.
- To receive and approve the Minutes of the 37th Annual Assembly of Parish Meeting held 17 May 2011.
- To receive the Annual Report detailing the work of the Town Council for the Municipal Year 2011/2012.
- Budget and Council Tax Precept for 2012/13. A copy of the budget is attached which shows the precept of £245.150.
- To consider any other Parish matter which may be brought forward for consideration by the Town Council or local government elector(s).
ANNUAL MEETING OF BELPER TOWN COUNCIL

- Election of Town Mayor.
- Election of Deputy Town Mayor.
- Apologies for absence.
- To receive Members' declaration for the Register of Interests (including agreement to abide by the Code of Conduct).
- Order of Business
- Public Participation:
A short period of time will be made available for members of the public to raise any issues with Members of the Town Council. - Police:
A representative of the local police will be present to discuss any law and order issues that are raised at the meeting. - To confirm the Minutes of the Annual Meeting held 17 May 2011 as approved by Council on 7 June 2011. (Attached)
- To approve the Mayor's Allowance for 2012/2013 (Budget £2,431).
- Appointment of Members to Council Committees 2012/2013.
members of the committees will need to be in the ratio of 3:1 Conservative and Labour. - Appointment of Representatives to Outside Bodies for 2012/2013
